How far do you actually travel for a job?
Alexandria is home base, and most of my work stays within Central Minnesota and Eastern North Dakota but service area isn't a hard line on a map. Does a free estimate actually mean free, or is there a catch?
It means free. I'll come look at your concrete, talk through what you're trying to accomplish, and give you a real number no pressure to sign anything on the spot, and no charge for the visit itself.
Do you only work with homeowners, or businesses too?
Both, plus property managers, industrial facility operators, and general contractors who bring me in as a sub on larger projects. The consultation looks a little different depending on who I'm talking to, but the standard for the work doesn't change.
What's the actual range of flooring work you do?
Epoxy, polyaspartic, decorative and metallic concrete, polished concrete, and the surface prep and restoration work that has to happen before any of those go down. That spans garages, commercial spaces, and industrial facilities if it's concrete, there's a good chance I've got a system for it.
My concrete already has cracks or damage does that rule out a coating?
No, and honestly it's the normal starting point for a lot of jobs, not the exception. Every project gets inspected first, and cracks, grinding, and surface prep get handled before installation, not skipped to save time.
How do you actually decide which system is right for a given project?
I look at the concrete itself, ask how the space gets used day to day, and factor in your budget before recommending anything. I'm not going to sell you polyaspartic if epoxy does everything you actually need the goal is the right system for your situation, not the most expensive one on the list.
Can you match a specific look I have in mind, or am I picking from a standard catalog?
There's real room to get specific decorative flake blends, metallic finishes, custom colors, polished aggregate exposure. Bring reference photos or a general idea of what you're after to the consultation and I'll tell you what's realistically achievable with each system.
Does Minnesota winter weather affect how long a coating actually holds up?
It's a real factor, especially for garages dealing with road salt and constant freeze-thaw cycles. That's part of why the recommendation isn't identical for every property a system that performs fine in a climate-controlled showroom isn't necessarily the right call for a garage seeing salt and snowmelt five months a year. I'll factor that into what I recommend for your specific space.
Is there a bad time of year to have this done?
Temperature and humidity affect cure times, so scheduling matters more than people expect. I'll walk you through timing during the estimate rather than just booking whatever date works for my calendar getting the conditions right during installation affects how the floor performs later.
What happens if something goes wrong with the floor after installation?
If an issue traces back to the installation itself, I stand behind the work reach out and we'll sort it out. Being upfront about that matters to me more than avoiding the question.
